Description: Less than a week after raging against cow farts and urging Americans to stop eating so many hamburgers, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was caught oozing with hypocrisy. On Tuesday night, an image scorched across Twitter showing Ocasio-Cortez and her chief of staff, Saikat Chakrabarti, sitting down for dinner together. While sitting no more than a foot away, Ocasio-Cortez watched as Chakrabarti ordered a hamburger and chowed it down right in front of her.

Conservative Caleb Hull also shared a close-up image showing that her chief of staff was definitely eating the one specific food that she wants Americans to stop eating.

Soon after the images caught fire on Twitter, Ocasio-Cortez went to her go-to play: she played the victim and attacked the person who took the original photo as being a creep. “Tonight a dude was creepily (and obviously) taking a picture of me while pretending he wasn’t and I had to break his imaginary fourth wall and say ‘Hi! I’m a person! This is weird!'” she wrote. In a second tweet, the New York socialist responded to a post from One America News host Jack Posobiec, who shared a gif poking fun at the idea of literally catching Ocasio-Cortez being a total hypocrite. She then accused the person, who took the photo in a public setting with several other people around, of being a stalker. “When you’re a guy that’s so unaware of his own creepiness that you tweet this from your own account as if it’s normal and not stalkerish at all,” she wrote. Ocasio-Cortez being exposed as a total hypocrite — and someone who can’t take a joke without accusing someone of stalking her — comes just a week after she urged Americans to stop eating so many hamburgers. During an appearance on the Showtime series “Desus & Mero,” the New York lawmaker was asked about “farting cows” in the Green New Deal “frequently asked questions” section. “In the deal, what we talk about is, it’s true, is that we need to take a look at factory farming, period. It’s wild,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “And so, it’s not to say you get rid of agriculture. It’s not to say we’re going to force everybody to go vegan or anything crazy like that,” Ocasio-Cortez added. She continued, “But it’s to say, listen, we’ve got to address factory farming. Maybe we shouldn’t be eating a hamburger for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Like, let’s keep it real.” The original FAQ document released by Ocasio-Cortez’s office earlier this month explicitly described “farting cows” as a key contributor of harming the planet. The core of the socialist legislation — which estimates say it would cost at least $7 trillion — is to require the U.S. to eliminate “pollution and greenhouse gas emissions” and meet “100 percent of the power demand in the United States through clean, renewable, and zero-emission energy sources” within 10 years. As an example of how radical her bill is, the legislation calls for every single building in the United States to be “upgraded or replaced.” Her legislation is so bad that even liberal Union leaders are predicting the socialist overhaul would lead to catastrophic job losses in a variety of industries. But beyond that, it’s also amazing to see Ocasio-Cortez claim the key to saving the planet is eating fewer hamburgers, but then says nothing at all when her top staffer chows down on a delicious hamburger less than a foot away from her.

Description: Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is clarifying one of the main tenets of her Green New Deal, but not the part about it costing an estimated $7 trillion. “We set a goal to get to net-zero, rather than zero, emissions in 10 years because we aren’t sure that we’ll be able to fully get rid of farting cows and airplanes that fast,” the document originally stated, but was later removed in the official proposal submitted to Congress. The core of the socialist legislation is to require the U.S. to eliminate “pollution and greenhouse gas emissions” and meet “100 percent of the power demand in the United States through clean, renewable, and zero-emission energy sources” within 10 years. The legislation calls for every single building in the United States to be “upgraded or replaced.” That’s right, that means taxpayers will be stuck footing the bill for millions of buildings in the country being upgraded or completely replaced. The socialist “Green New Deal” begins by claiming “human activity is the dominant cause of observed climate change over the past century.” The measure then asserts that “a changing climate is causing sea levels to rise and an increase in wildfires, severe storms, droughts, and other extreme weather events that threaten human life.” Ocasio-Cortez and Rep. Ed Markey, who co-sponsored the legislation, go on to argue that the United States will lose $500 billion in annual output by 2100 due to climate change. If true, that’s a very tiny percentage compared to the estimated $7 trillion that the “Green New Deal” will cost taxpayers to implement. In fact, the legislation is so bad that even liberal Union leaders are predicting the socialist overhaul would lead to catastrophic job losses in a variety of industries. But Ocasio-Cortez is apparently far more concerned with farting cows than the possibility of her legislation bankrupting the country.

Description: Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., lashed out at an anonymous shutterbug who “creepily” snapped a picture of her at a restaurant with an aide who was feasting on a juicy burger -- an image that soon made the rounds on social media, as it was taken days after she questioned whether Americans needed to eat so much meat. “Tonight a dude was creepily (and obviously) taking a picture of me while pretending he wasn’t and I had to break his imaginary fourth wall and say 'Hi! I’m a person! This is weird!'” she tweeted. The picture, posted by conservative social media strategist Caleb Hull, showed Ocasio-Cortez and Chief of Staff Saikat Chakrabarti eating at an unidentified restaurant. Notably, Chakrabarti was munching on a burger, just days after Ocasio-Cortez had warned against eating too much of America’s favorite dish. In talking up her Green New Deal, which had initially come with an FAQ that talked (presumably tongue-in-cheek) about “getting rid” of “farting cows” to help combat climate change, Ocasio-Cortez said on a TV appearance that Americans may need to eat fewer burgers. “In the deal, what we talk about, and it’s true, is that we need to take a look at factory farming, you know? Period. It’s wild,” Ocasio-Cortez said on Showtime's late-night “Desus & Mero" last week. “And so it’s not to say you get rid of agriculture, it’s not to say we’re gonna force everybody to go vegan or anything crazy like that. But it’s to say, ‘Listen, we gotta address factory farming. Maybe we shouldn’t be eating a hamburger for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.' Like, let’s keep it real.” Earlier this month she told a school assembly of teenagers in Queens to “skip meat/dairy for a meal.” The image of her aide with a burger was too juicy to resist for critics seeking examples of a double standard. “Hi AOC, why is your Chief of Staff eating a hamburger?” Hull tweeted, along with a headline showing that she urged Americans to eat fewer hamburgers. He also deleted a tweet of the photo by itself. Hull later clarified that “this picture was only taken and sent to me because AOC told the country to eat less hamburgers and her COS is here eating a hamburger.” “Notice how she wasn’t confronted and forced to leave the restaurant like liberals have been doing to the GOP?” he added, referring to incidents where Republicans and Trump administration officials have been hounded out of restaurants by liberal activists.

Description: U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., defended the Green New Deal after the recent rollout of the New York Democrat's policy proposal got a lot of attention over “farting cows.” In an appearance Thursday night on the premiere of Showtime's late-night “Desus & Mero" show, the comedy pair hosts of the program asked the freshman congresswoman why she thought the initial reaction focused on "cow farts." “In the deal, what we talk about, and it’s true, is that we need to take a look at factory farming, you know? Period. It’s wild,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “And so it’s not to say you get rid of agriculture, it’s not to say we’re gonna force everybody to go vegan or anything crazy like that. But it’s to say, ‘Listen, we gotta address factory farming. Maybe we shouldn’t be eating a hamburger for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Like, let’s keep it real.” “Slow down,” co-host Desus Nice joked. “But we have to take a look at everything," Ocasio-Cortez continued, "and what we need to realize about climate change is about every choice that we make in our lives, you know?" On the original FAQ page for the Green New Deal's rollout, Ocasio-Cortez and other Democrats backing the plan had explained why the proposal included the goal of “net zero” greenhouse gases in 10 years. “We set a goal to get to net-zero, rather than zero emissions, in 10 years because we aren't sure that we'll be able to fully get rid of farting cows and airplanes that fast,” the page said.

But after the FAQ page was widely mocked, the Democratic lawmakers took it down. Also on Thursday's show, the Democratic socialist also defended her call for a 70 percent marginal tax rate on incomes over $10 million, which she said represented a “pretty good year.” “It really comes down to the question of, ‘Isn’t $10 million enough?’ Like, when does it stop?” she asked. “At what point is it amoral that we’re building Jeff Bezos a helipad when we have the most amount of homeless people in New York City?” Like Ocasio-Cortez, Desus Nice (aka Daniel Baker) and partner The Kid Mero (aka Joel Martinez) hail from the Bronx, N.Y.

Ocasio-Cortez, like Stalin, is coming for your hamburger, warns former Trump aide and Fox News contributor Gorka

Description: Threatening to take away a Californian’s In-N-Out burger? That’s the kind of thing that could change minds, sway elections and maybe even turn a blue state red. Sebastian Gorka, a former Trump aide, is well aware of America’s bipartisan passion for ground beef, and he played into that love affair during his fiery speech on Thursday at the Conservative Political Action Conference:
‘They want to take your pickup truck, they want to rebuild your home, they want to take away your hamburgers. This is what Stalin dreamt about but never achieved.’

Fact-check: Joseph Stalin, according to Russiapedia, once sent a top Russian official to America to study the development of the U.S. economy. Inspired by hamburgers, he came back and launched the mass production of meat patties. But that’s beside the point. Gorka, a frequent Fox News contributor, was taking issue with the Green New Deal, a sweeping plan to slash greenhouse gas emissions and create jobs. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, the freshly-elected New York congresswoman who co-authored the proposal, previously addressed the right’s talking point that she’s somehow aiming to get rid of cows. “It’s not to say you get rid of agriculture. It’s not to say we’re gonna force everybody to go vegan or anything crazy like that,” she recently said on the Desus & Mero show. “But it’s to say, ‘Listen, we gotta address factory farming. Maybe we shouldn’t be eating a hamburger for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.” Still, at CPAC, Gorka compared her Green New Deal to a watermelon. “Green on the outside, deep, deep red communist on the inside,” he said. The crowd went wild.

“You are on the frontlines of the war against communism coming back to America under the guise of Democratic socialism,” Gorka said. “I want everyone to take to heart Donald J. Trump is never going to let it happen.” Cue the “USA! USA!”
